Tish Hagee (1987) Tucker

I have been very blessed in my life. In 2006 I was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma, which is a rare sarcoma that affects four out of every one million sarcoma patients (not cancer patients, sarcoma patients). My strain was the most aggresive, and leiomyosarcoma does not respond to the normal treatments (chemotherapy and radiation). I had my leg reconstructed at MD Anderson in Houston, and have been cancer free now for the past two years. I am so grateful for that! I have also been blessed with the opportunity to publish a book about my experience through Tate Publishing. It will be available through Amazon.com on July 14, 2009. My book is entitled, "Hear My Cry: How Grace Conquered Cancer." My desire is that it gives hope to others going through a similar situation, or anyone just having a really bad day.
